Must the registrant accept the registration terms for .se and .nu separately, even if they are included in the registrar’s customer agreement?

Updated 18 Jul, 2025

Yes, it is not sufficient for the registration terms for .se and .nu to be included in the registrar’s own customer agreement. The registrant must explicitly accept Internetstiftelsen’s registration terms separately — for example, by ticking a checkbox or taking another clear affirmative action indicating consent.

This act of acceptance must be logged by the registrar’s system and must be available for presentation upon request from Internetstiftelsen, for example during an audit or compliance review.
