What does the EPP message look like that the EPP server sends to the receiving registrar during a Registrar Transfer?

Updated 6 Jul, 2023

The receiving registrar is the one that initiates a change of registrar by sending a transfer command. That command results in a response that looks like below:

Transfer response

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
<epp xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:epp-1.0"xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"xsi:schemaLocation="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:epp-1.0 epp-1.0.xsd">
<response>
<result code="1000">
<msg>Command completed successfully</msg>
</result>
<resData>
<dom:trnData xsi:schemaLocation="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:domain-1.0 domain-1.0.xsd" xmlns:dom="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:domain-1.0"> <dom:name>example.se</dom:name>
<dom:trStatus>serverApproved</dom:trStatus>
<dom:reID>RegistrarA</dom:reID>
<dom:reDate>2009-03-15T13:45:07Z</dom:reDate>
<dom:acID>RegistrarB</dom:acID>
<dom:acDate>2009-03-15T00:00:00Z</dom:acDate>

</trID>
</response>

Furthermore, a notification is generated informing the user that a new contact has been added, displayed in the form of a poll message that appears as follows:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
