Test instructions - Text messages in poll during verification check

Updated 30 Aug, 2024

Below are the instructions for testing the text messages in the poll notification "domain-update-notify" related to verification check (pre-delegation testing).

Login1.    Log in to the EPP-server epptest.iis.se

New registration marked for verification check1.    Create a new contact with the email address: verify-check@iis.se.2.    Submit a new registration with the registrant contact created in step 1, and set eID=false. The domain should end with .test, for example: example.test.3.    This will result in the domain being registered and you will receive a poll with the text message "Registrant data needs verification." The domain will also receive the EPP statuses serverHold, serverTransferProhibited, and serverRenewProhibited.

Action for verification check1.    Submit a domain update with a new registrant ID for the domain registered in the previous step. The new registrant ID must not have the email address verify-check@iis.se.2.    This will result in the domain being activated and you will receive a poll with the text message "Registrant verified – Domain active." The EPP statuses serverHold, serverTransferProhibited, and serverRenewProhibited will be removed from the domain.

New registration that passed check but was not marked for further verification1.    Submit a new registration with a registrant that does not have the email address verify-check@iis.se, and set eID=false. The domain should end with .test, for example: example.test.2.    This will result in the domain being registered, and you will receive a poll with the text message "ServerHold removed – Domain active."
