What happens in connection with a registrar transfer?

When a registrar requests a Registrar Transfer with the correct authorization code, the domain will be transferred immediately. The registrant object is copied and the new contact is entered as the registrant for the domain. All other contacts will be removed.

All hosts under the same domain are also transferred. <iis: transferNotify /> is sent to the submitting registrar. The receiving registrar receives a <iis: createNotify /> message for the new registrant object and <iis: transferNotify /> messages for all transferred domain names and hosts.
