Change that does not seem to take effect, what is the matter?

Updated 5 Jul, 2023

It's been more than a day or three since I requested a change, but it hasn't been implemented yet. What is it due to?

There are a number of conditions that must all be met for a requested change to be implemented. So here are some things you should check:

1. Something may have changed, so that it is not the same information in all three searches.

2. Is the domain name status ACTIVE?

3. The domain name cannot be marked with Registry Lock during change. To perform change, the domain must first be unlocked.

4. Is the CDS entry correctly written?

5. If CDNSKEY records have been published, do the contents match the corresponding CDS records?

6. The system handles a maximum of six simultaneous CDS records per domain name.

7. All name servers for the domain name must validate DNSSEC for the domain and also publish the same CDS RR set.
